First Day Procedures - September 3rd, 2019
Published on Aug 28, 2019 07:04

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year at Monsignor J.E. Ronan Catholic School!

The first day of the new school year is next Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019. Our staff has been working diligently in preparation for the arrival of our students. I am confident that together we will have another amazing year!

Beginning at 8:45 am on Tuesday, September 3rd, Parents and Guardians of students from Grades 1 to 8 will be permitted to enter our school yard to accompany their children to meet their teachers.

As per usual, students will be sorted into classes on the school yard. Grade 1 to 8 signs will be made to help students gather according to grade. All staff will be outside to assist in this process. If it is raining, we will move this process into the gym. We ask for your patience during this process as we have many new students to the school. All our SK students starting on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 should meet in the Kindergarten area on the East side of the school. Our Kindergarten teams will be there to meet you!

The following has been confirmed as our "Bell Schedule" for the 2019-20 school year. It is the same as last year.

PLEASE NOTE that as per our Safe Schools Policy, parents will NOT be permitted on the school yard after the first day. All visitors to the school must come through the Main Office.

Finally, given the continued growth in Beeton and New Tecumseth as a whole, we have had tremendous growth over the summer, with many new registrants. It is possible, and even likely, that we may have to reorganize classes in the days ahead. Should this situation arise, we will make every effort to ensure Parents and Guardians are aware of all changes in advance. Any changes will be handled with sensitivity to the feelings and needs of our students. As always, please contact the school if you have any questions or concerns.

God Bless,

Mr. Mauro Porco
